ABOUT GLCB

The Greater Louisville Council of the Blind was organized in April, 2005. GLCB received its charter as a chapter of the Kentucky Council of the Blind at the 32nd annual KCB convention in November of that year, and it was incorporated as a Kentucky nonprofit organization in December, 2007.

GLCB has been serving blind and visually impaired people throughout metropolitan Louisville since that time. The organization acts as an advocate on behalf of blind and visually impaired people; learn more about GLCB advocacy here.
